Omaha area mayors and MAPA and Metro executives will meet at the City County Building at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in support of Ozone Awareness Days, part of the Little Steps. Big Impact. campaign.

Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert will be joined by Council Bluffs Mayor Tom Hanafan, La Vista Mayor Doug Kindig, Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders, and Dr. Adi Pour, director of the Douglas County Health Department, Greg Youell, Executive Director of MAPA and members of the MAPA and Metro boards at the news conference. Mayors Stothert, Kindig and Hanafan and Dr. Pour will take a Metro bus to the conference. Mayor Sanders will arrive at the news conference on her bicycle.

The conference will be held on the south side of the City County Building Plaza, located at 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha.  

 Mayors Stothert, Kindig and Hanafan and Dr. Adi Pour will be arriving on regularly scheduled metro bus lines.  

The Little Steps. Big Impact. campaign sponsors Ozone Awareness Days to increase awareness about air quality in the Omaha metro area.
